Plus one’s tinkonko - A lot of people didn’t catch on quick to this new boy group but their first single has been garnering so much airplay that people have finally been forced to notice them. This song is more suited to a dance floor but its major strong point is its simple yet enticing hook.

Sleek & ID cabasa’s south African girl - Yes records quickly made their intentions known by tag teaming two of their most talented artistes on this song and the result was awesome. The song might not be so huge in naija probably cos it wasn’t made for the naija girls but that doesn’t change the fact that it is a good song.

Bracket’s yori yori - What can I say that you don’t already know. This song is so infectious that you might end up humming it in your sleep, you know a song is a monster hit when the bus drivers & market women know the lyrics.

Ay.com & Terry G’s pass me your love – This song is one of the most popular songs of 2009. The only song that successfully makes you think love is a round leather thing that can be passed around. This was terry g at his very best before gingah your swaggah.
